Ducati’s Monster model gets a new brethren with the Ducati Monster 821. It is a trickle-down engineering model of its big brother - the Monster 1200. It houses a Testastretta 11°, L-Twin, 4 Desmodromically actuated valves per cylinder engine capable of producing 109 HP of power at 9,250 rpm and a peak torque of 63 lb-ft at 7,750 rpm. Its cosmetic features include:

• Near-Vertical Posture for a Relaxed Attitude
The Monster 821 locks horns with the likes of Triumph Street Triple S, Kawasaki Z90 and even the Suzuki GSX-S750. Its price on Indian roads is estimated at Rs 10 lakh INR.
