British motorcycle brand Norton will be making its India debut next year in a tie-up with Kinetic. The iconic car maker will introduce two units in the nation, one of which will be the Norton Commando 961. It comes in two variants – The Commando 961 Sport and The Commando 961 Cafe Racer, both these variants houses a 961 cc, parallel-twin engine with a 270-degree crank capable of producing 79 bhp of power at 67 Nm of peak torque coupled to five-speed gearbox. The Commando competes with the likes of Triumph Bonneville T120 and the Thruxton 1200. Its price on Indian roads is estimated at Rs 23 lakh INR.
