The Indian Armed Force with a new look


The Indian Armed Force has changed its standard vehicle from the Maruti Gypsy to the new Tata Safari Storm. Tata and the Armed Force got into the agreement last year and 3192 units have been manufactured so far. Its changes include: 
·         Heavy duty suspension
·         Improved Upper body
·         Full matte green variant
Its cosmetic changes include:
·         Antenna on the bonnet
·         Rear bumper trailer hook
·         Bumper lights
The Safari model houses a 2.2l turbo diesel capable of producing 154 BHP of power at 400 Nm of peak torque coupled to a 4 wheel drive system and a 6 speed manual transmission.
